The 300a is a two stage air purifier with a negative ion generator and a dual-ceramic ozone plate filter. The 300a’s ozone function can oxidize the particles in the air and eliminate indoor contaminates. By significantly reducing various particulates in the air such as smoke, bacteria, dust, and allergens, the 300a can greatly reduce the irritation of these contaminants to allergies. The unit is made of solid natural wood, no pressed wood or laminate exterior. There are also no costly filters to replace!

Save hundreds off retail price and get the Atlas Air Purifier for your home or office. Negative ions can be created around the clock to keep down dust and particles that cause allergies. The activated oxygen has a separate control. Activated oxygen is normally kept at modest levels in occupied spaces. To remove major odors, the unit may be adjusted to a higher level for a period of time. Some use a timer to completely deodorize the home or office while away. Unused O3 reverts back to O2 in about an hour.

Questions (2)
How can you tell if the plates are needing replaced and why would they go bad? Thanks, Rich Glover

Dear Customer, You can tell if the plates have gone bad if they are not producing ozone. You should be able to smell the ozone produced and hear a slight buzzing when the ozone function is turned on. You may also take your plates out of the unit and inspect it for any rust or residue that may have built up and made them dysfunctional. We recommend once every 30 days you should wash the ceramic Ozone plates in warm water with a bit of clear or lemon ammonia added (optional; if you have it, then mix 1 teaspoon of ammonia with 1 cup of water). Soak the plates in warm water (with ammonia mix) for a few minutes and then rinse them well on both sides and use an old toothbrush to gently scrub the metal screen on each side of the plate to remove any residue. Allow the plates to dry fully before reinserting them back into the unit.

I am concerned about my small cat. Is this safe for her? What is the best setting for her?

Hello, We have not had any issues with pets. Thanks
